Evans GP is pleased to confirm that Kareen Kaur will race with Evans GP Academy for the full 2026 Formula Trophy Malaysia season, continuing a driver development programme with the team that has already included extensive testing and race outings at Sepang International Circuit.

Kaur has spent significant time working with Evans GP throughout 2026, completing Formula 4 testing alongside experience in production-based machinery as part of the team’s wider driver development programme. Evans GP’s testing programme has combined track running with engineering support, data analysis and driver coaching.

The Singaporean driver has also built valuable race experience away from single-seaters, including outings in the Asia Classic Car Challenge and Malaysia Speed Festival (MSF).

Her Asia Classic Car Challenge appearance with Evans GP Academy saw her make her touring car debut in the team’s Mazda MX-5, qualifying on pole position in class before securing a class victory at Sepang.

The varied programme has been designed to expose Kaur to different machinery, driving characteristics and racing environments while building the racecraft required for her continued progression in Formula 4.

She now returns to single-seater competition with Evans GP Academy for all three rounds of Formula Trophy Malaysia at Sepang, beginning with the championship’s opening event on 2–4 October as part of the Formula 1 weekend.

Formula Trophy Malaysia will take place across three events at Sepang International Circuit during the remainder of 2026.
