Evans GP is pleased to confirm its participation in the 2026 Formula Trophy Malaysia, continuing the team’s Southeast Asian Formula 4 programme with a multi-car entry at Sepang International Circuit.

The Formula Trophy Malaysia will see Formula 4 competition return to Southeast Asia across three events at Sepang, beginning with a major opening round on 2–4 October as part of the Formula 1 weekend.

The championship will then return to Sepang for its second round on 6–8 November, before concluding with the final event in December.

For Evans GP, the programme represents a continuation of the team’s involvement in Formula 4 competition in Southeast Asia following a highly successful 2025 campaign.

Evans GP won the 2025 Southeast Asian F4 Teams’ Championship, while its drivers finished first and second in the Drivers’ Championship. The team will now look to build on that success as Formula 4 racing returns to Malaysia.

The Evans GP line-up for the Formula Trophy Malaysia will feature a mixture of Asian and European talent. The championship is also expected to attract teams and drivers from both Asia and Europe, bringing a strong international field to Sepang.

“Opening the championship as part of the Formula 1 weekend is obviously very special. It will be a fantastic opportunity for our drivers, partners and team members to compete in front of a major international audience at our home circuit.

“We had an extremely successful Southeast Asian F4 campaign last year, winning the Teams’ Championship and finishing first and second in the Drivers’ Championship. Naturally, we want to build on that success and continue developing our Formula 4 programme in the region.

“We understand that the level of competition is continuing to grow. We expect a strong field featuring teams and drivers from both Asia and Europe, and that is exactly what we want. Strong international competition is important for the continued development of Formula 4 and young drivers in Southeast Asia.

Evans GP will announce its 2026 Formula Trophy Malaysia driver line-up individually in the lead-up to the opening round.

The opening event will take place at Sepang International Circuit on 2–4 October, followed by Round 2 on 6–8 November and the championship finale in December.
