Evans GP is pleased to confirm that Rafael Vaessen will continue with the team for the newly rebranded 2026 UAE4 Series. Formerly known as the F4 UAE Championship, the UAE4 Series provides Formula 4 drivers with valuable track time in a competitive environment during the European winter.

Vaessen joined Evans GP for the final round of the 2025 FIA Formula 4 South East Asia Championship, before contesting the opening two rounds of Formula Trophy UAE. Across both appearances, he demonstrated consistent progression and a disciplined approach to his development, forming a strong foundation for his 2026 programme.

Joshua Evans, Team Principal, Evans GP:

“Rafael integrated well with the team at the end of 2025 and showed clear progression across both FIA F4 SEA and Formula Trophy UAE. His approach and feedback were consistently strong, and his partnership with AT Performance has provided a stable framework for continued development. We’re looking forward to continuing to work with him throughout the 2026 UAE4 Series campaign.”

Rafael Vaessen:

“I’m pleased to be continuing with Evans GP for the 2026 UAE4 Series. The team environment and support from AT Performance have helped me take important steps forward, and running three championships in 2026 will allow me to continue that progression. My initial races with the team were encouraging, and I look forward to building on that foundation across a full winter season.”

Further information on Evans GP’s 2026 programmes and additional driver announcements will follow in the coming days.
