Evans GP is pleased to confirm that Ben Nguyen will contest a part-time campaign with the team in the 2026 UAE4 Series. Formerly known as the FIA Formula 4 UAE Championship, the UAE4 Series provides Formula 4 drivers with valuable track time in a highly competitive environment during the European winter.

The 17-year-old Vietnamese driver made his debut with Evans GP during the 2025 Formula Trophy UAE support race at the Formula 1 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Despite never having tested or raced at Yas Marina Circuit, Nguyen demonstrated top-12 pace throughout and gained 12 positions across the weekend’s two races.

Nguyen will return to Evans GP machinery for Round 1 at Yas Marina Circuit and Round 4 at Lusail International Circuit as part of his 2026 winter programme.

Joshua Evans, Team Principal, Evans GP: “Ben’s debut with the team at Yas Marina was extremely encouraging. To show consistent top-12 pace and strong racecraft on his first weekend at a new circuit highlights his composure and adaptability. We’re looking forward to seeing him continue that progress when he rejoins us for selected rounds of the UAE4 Series.”

Ben Nguyen: “I’m excited to be racing again with Evans GP in the UAE4 Series. My first weekend with the team at Abu Dhabi was a great learning experience, and I felt comfortable in the environment straight away. Returning for Round 1 and Round 4 gives me a good opportunity to build on that debut and continue developing as a driver.”

Further information on Evans GP’s 2026 programmes and additional driver announcements will follow in the coming days.
