Evans GP is pleased to confirm that Danish driver Alba Larsen will join the team for the opening three rounds of the 2026 UAE4 Series ahead of her 2026 F1 Academy season.

Larsen steps into the UAE4 Series following a solid 2025 campaign in F1 Academy, where she impressed everyone. At just 16 years of age, she was fighting for top positions all year. Alba was signed by Ferrari Driver Academy, and will represent Ferrari in the 2026 F1 Academy.

She worked throughout the year with Evans GP Team Principal Joshua Evans, whose engineering support contributed to her consistent progression, clarity in feedback and improved racecraft across the season.

Her three-round programme with Evans GP provides targeted preparation ahead of her 2026 F1 Academy campaign. The early-season UAE events offer valuable race mileage, competitive grid exposure and a familiar engineering structure that supports her development for the 2026 season.

Joshua Evans, Team Principal, Evans GP: “Alba made strong strides during her first year in F1 Academy. She is methodical and adapts quickly, and her results in 2025 reflected that progression. The opening rounds of the UAE4 Series will give her focused preparation ahead of her second F1 Academy season, and we look forward to supporting her development during this initial phase.”

Alba Larsen: “I’m excited to be starting my 2026 programme with Evans GP in UAE4. Working with Josh throughout 2025 helped me grow a lot as a driver, and I’m looking forward to continuing this throughout the first three rounds of the UAE4 Series. This will be a great way to build momentum before my next F1 Academy season.

Further details on Evans GP’s 2026 preparations and additional announcements will follow.
