Evans GP is pleased to announce that Thomas Yu Lee will be rejoining the team for the 2025 Formula 4 South East Asia (SEA) Championship, where he will compete in the Masters Class. Having previously raced with Evans GP in the 2023 GB4 Championship and with the team’s sister outfit, DW Evans GT, in the 2024 Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia series, Thomas brings valuable experience and a strong track record as he returns to single-seater competition.

Thomas has showcased his versatility across multiple categories, securing the Vice-Champion title in the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Pro-Am class last season. Prior to that, he gained crucial open-wheel experience in GB4, further refining his racecraft. Now, stepping back into formula cars, Thomas will bring his experience and competitive mindset to the SEA F4 Championship’s Masters Class, a category designed for more seasoned drivers looking to challenge themselves against the next generation of talent.

One of the highlights of the season will be the Bangsaen Street Circuit event in Thailand, a unique and demanding track set along the beachfront. Known for its fast, narrow layout and high spectator turnout, the event regularly attracts over 200,000 fans, creating an electric atmosphere. With limited room for error, the circuit will test drivers’ precision and adaptability, making it a true spectacle on the calendar.

Evans GP will be running multiple Formula 4 cars in the 2025 SEA F4 Championship, with further driver announcements to be made in the coming weeks. The team currently has one seat still available and welcomes inquiries from interested drivers looking to join a competitive program in the series.

The 2025 championship will feature a mix of circuits across Malaysia and Thailand, combining high-speed tracks with technical layouts to offer drivers a well-rounded development experience.
