ABU DHABI, 13 th January 2024 – Evans GP is pleased to confirm the signing of Australian driver Aaron Cameron for the 2025 Formula Regional Middle East Championship (FRMEC). Aaron brings a wealth of experience from across a variety of motorsport disciplines and is set to make his debut in Formula Regional competition with the team this season.

Aaron’s career highlights include being an Australian Karting Champion, a S5000 Champion, and runner up in both TCR Australia and Dunlop Super 2 series. He has also demonstrated his adaptability by competing in major events like the Bathurst 1000. His broad experience and proven success make him a valuable addition to the Evans GP roster.

Team Principal Joshua Evans shared his thoughts on the signing: “We’re excited to welcome Aaron Cameron to Evans GP for the 2025 season. It’s been great to get the deal done, with thanks to Versa Motorsport Manager Toby Pope, and this signing continues our successful partnership with Versa. After finishing 2nd in the 2023 GB4 Championship and securing 5th in our debut at the Macau GP with Versa-supported driver Cooper Webster, we’re looking forward to building on that momentum with Aaron. His diverse experience and strong track record will be an asset to the team.”

Aaron Cameron commented on the opportunity: “I’m really looking forward to joining Evans GP for the 2025 FRMEC season. Aaron joins Indian driver Kai Daryanani in the team’s FRMEC lineup. Both drivers will aim to deliver strong performances in the championship, which serves as a platform for young drivers to progress in international motorsport.

Evans GP will also compete in the Formula 4 Middle East Championship, which runs parallel to FRMEC. Australian Seth Gilmore and Portuguese driver Tiago Rodrigues will represent the team in Formula 4, continuing Evans GP’s commitment to driver development across multiple levels of competition.
