Evans GP is thrilled to confirm its participation in the 2025 South East Asian Formula 4 (SEA F4) Championship. The team will field a competitive four-car lineup in this highly anticipated series, which serves as a vital platform for developing future motorsport talent in Southeast Asia and Australasia.
Evans GP’s entry into SEA F4 continues its tradition of nurturing young drivers while building on its impressive track record of success. Over the years, the team has achieved numerous wins and podiums in Formula Regional and Formula 4, both in Asia and the Middle East, and played a significant role in launching the careers of rising stars such as Red Bull Racing Formula 1 Junior, Isack Hadjar. The team also excelled in GB4 in 2023, securing six wins and 16 podium finishes in the United Kingdom.
Most recently, Evans GP delivered a remarkable performance at the prestigious Macau GP Formula Regional World Cup, finishing 5th overall in a field featuring the world’s top junior teams, including Prema Racing (6th), ART Grand Prix, R-ace GP (1st), MP Motorsport (2nd), and TOMS Racing (12th). This achievement solidifies Evans GP’s reputation as a leading team in international motorsport.
The 2025 SEA F4 Championship offers a format aligned with European Formula 4 series, making it a premier platform for young drivers aspiring to compete on the global stage. The championship exclusively utilizes the current-generation Tatuus Formula 4 car, the F4-T421, which is the same model used in top championships like the Italian, Spanish, and UAE Formula 4 series. Additionally, the events are held at Grand Prix-style circuits, including Sepang International Circuit and Buriram International Circuit, providing drivers with an experience comparable to racing at the highest levels of motorsport.
Evans GP understands that several of the top teams from the Asia region will be joining the SEA F4 grid, ensuring a highly competitive field from the outset. This will elevate the level of racing and provide drivers in Australasia with the opportunity to test themselves against some of the best teams and drivers in the region, making the championship an exciting prospect for aspiring racers.
