Evans GP is excited to announce that Tiago Rodrigues will join the team for the 2024 Macau GP Formula Regional World Cup, driving one of our entries in what will be his debut in Formula Regional. Tiago, the 2023 FIA Chinese F4 Champion, previously raced for Evans GP at the Sepang Round of the Australian F4 Championship in September, where he impressed with a pole position and a race victory.

Having competed in the Macau F4 races last year, where he finished in the top 6, Tiago brings valuable experience from the demanding street circuit. This year, he is eager to return to the challenging Macau track and race in front of his home crowd, friends, and family in one of the biggest events of the year.

However, stepping up to the Formula Regional category will present a new challenge. Like his teammate Cooper Webster, this will be Tiago’s first time competing in this class. He will face strong competition from drivers who have been racing in Formula Regional throughout the season, with many in their second or third years. Despite the steep learning curve, Tiago is prepared to take on the challenge with Evans GP.

It’s always special to race in front of your home fans, and we’re confident he’ll give his best effort.”

Tiago Rodrigues also expressed his excitement:
