Evans GP is proud to announce that young driver Kai Daryanani will be returning to the team for a highly anticipated series of events, including the 2024 Macau GP Formula Regional World Cup, the 2024 Formula 4 Trophy Series, and the 2025 Formula Regional Middle East Championship. This announcement comes alongside the confirmation of Evans GP’s familiar 3-car lineup for the prestigious Macau GP, where Kai will join Australia’s Cooper Webster and Macau’s Tiago Rodrigues.

The trio is well-acquainted, having competed together during the Sepang round of the Australian F4 Championship in September 2024. In a commanding display of teamwork and skill, the three drivers locked out the front row in qualifying, securing a 1-2-3 finish. Each driver went on to win a race and set the fastest lap in one of the three races, underlining their exceptional abilities and chemistry as a team.

We are realistic about the competitive nature of this event, especially on such a demanding street circuit. Our primary focus is on gaining valuable experience, which will be critical as we prepare for the 2025 Formula Regional Middle East Championship.”

Kai Daryanani, now in his second full season of car racing, has shown immense potential throughout 2024. Competing in the FIA Formula 4 British Championship, he has secured multiple top-four finishes, showcasing his consistency and racecraft. In addition to his British F4 campaign, Kai has competed in selected rounds of the Italian F4 and Euro 4 Championships, further honing his skills in various competitive environments.

The 2024 Macau GP Formula Regional World Cup, which will take place from November 15-17, represents a significant milestone in Kai’s career as he makes his debut in a Formula Regional car. The Macau GP, one of the most prestigious and challenging street races in the world, will offer Kai an opportunity to develop his abilities in a high-pressure environment alongside some of the best young drivers in motorsport.

Following the Macau GP, Kai will return to familiar territory in the 2024 Formula 4 Trophy Series, which begins at Dubai Autodrome and continues with two rounds in Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi event will include a round supporting the final race of the Formula 1 World Championship, offering Kai the unique experience of racing on the same weekend as F1. The Formula 4 Trophy Series will be contested in the Tatuus F4 car, a platform that Kai has excelled in this season, adding to his experience and confidence ahead of the 2025 Formula Regional Middle East Championship.

The 2025 Formula Regional Middle East Championship, which will run in January and February next year, will be Kai’s next major step in his racing career, offering him further experience in the Formula Regional car.
