Australian motorsport team Evans GP is set to make waves as it returns to racing in Asia. With a strong track record, including numerous race wins, podiums, and second place in the 2021 Formula Regional Asia Teams’ Championship, Evans GP announces its re-entry into the Asian motorsport scene. The team is set to compete in the 2023 Formula Regional Asian Championship and the 2024 Formula Regional Middle East Championship.

The team joins the revitalization of Asian motorsports, with competitions such as the Lamborghini Super Trofeo Asia Championship, GT World Challenge Asia, and Chinese F4 already reaching pre-COVID-19 pandemic entry levels. This resurgence bodes well for the Formula Regional Asia Championship, and Evans GP eagerly anticipates being a part of it.

Evans GP’s return to Asia comes as it continues its operations in Europe. The team expanded its operations to Europe during the COVID-19 recovery phase of Asian motorsports, where they gained significant international experience, exposure and expertise. The team’s European programme has been highlighted by 10 podium finishes, multiple race wins, pole positions, and fastest laps. These achievements are a testament to the team’s global competitiveness and have helped cement its standing as a significant player in international motorsports.

Now, with Asian motorsports in ascendance, the team is ready to re-establish its position in the region.
