Melbourne, Australia –

Evans GP is pleased to announce the signing of American rising star, David Morales, who will join its Formula 3 team for the 2022 F3 Asian Championship season.

After a strong grounding in karting, the 18-year-old made his racing car debut in 2019, competing in the Formula Cars Series and NACAM Formula 4 in America. For 2021 David entered the European racing scene for the first time and competed in the highly competitive British F4 Championship.

Team Owner Josh Evans: “Everybody at Evans GP is delighted to welcome David to our team in what will be his first step up to Formula 3.

Last season we had the opportunity to work with young drivers Isack Hadjar and Irina Sidorkova when they both made the step from F4 to F3. They’ve both gone on to achieve success in European and we hope to guide David in a similar way”.

David Morales “I’m excited to be joining Evans GP for the 2022 Asian F3 Championship. I’m still yet to drive the Regional Formula 3 car but I know I will have a strong team to support me.

The team achieved numerous race wins and podiums last season and help to development a number of young drivers. I’m looking forward to working with them and developing further as a driver.”
