Silverstone, UK – 30th July 2023 – Evans GP, the determined racing team, showcased an impressive performance at the GB4 Championship event hosted at the renowned Silverstone Circuit. The team’s standout racer, Cooper Webster, secured an outstanding 4th place in Race 1 and achieved a remarkable 2nd place in Race 2, marking his 10th podium finish on UK soil.
Both Cooper Webster and the Evans GP team, under the guidance of Team Manager Joshua Evans, have been demonstrating their commitment to continuous improvement, acknowledging that they are still learning how to extract the most performance on UK circuits. In the closely-fought Race 1, Cooper Webster displayed tenacity and precision, earning a well-deserved 4th place finish. Thomas Lee demonstrated his dedication to enhancing his skills, setting new personal best lap times, which reflects the team’s drive to excel on these circuits.
Race 2 was a thrilling affair, with Cooper Webster stealing the show with an outstanding 2nd place finish, further cementing his position as one of the championship’s top contenders. Thomas Lee’s unwavering commitment also contributed significantly to the team’s success, securing a notable 12th place finish.
Unfortunately, the much-anticipated Race 3 had to be canceled due to adverse weather conditions. Safety remains a paramount concern, and the decision was taken in accordance with the championship’s safety protocols.
