Ahead of the second round of the 2023 GB4 Championship, Evans GP enjoyed a productive test day at Brands Hatch Circuit with #37 driver Cooper Webster.

Webster completed four sessions of productive running in both wet and dry conditions, gaining valuable track time and furthering the team’s understanding in preparation for a strong weekend at Silverstone.

“I was pretty happy with my first time here [at Brands Hatch],” Webster said. “I think I’ve made good progress in terms of my driving and learning the track.

“It was quite enjoyable, this circuit – with a lot of undulation and blind corners and fast corners, it really suits what I think my strengths are.

“It was a good day, we were at the front towards the times.”

Team Principal Joshua Evans reflected on the day’s running as an opportunity for the team to gain more knowledge about the characteristics of the Tatuus F4-T014 at a different circuit.

“It was a positive and productive test day for us,” Evans said. “The team has made progress on a number of fronts and we’ve gained more of an understanding of the car and how to get the most out of it.

“We’re looking forward to the next race at Silverstone and building on a solid start to the season.

“We’re all working hard and are determined to have a strong showing.”
