3Y Evans GP is pleased to announce the signing of French F4 race winner Isack Hadjar, who will join its Asian F3 team for the upcoming 2021 championship.
The 16-year-old Frenchman finished 3rd overall in the Championnat de France F4, taking 3 wins along the way. He also impressed during winter testing and Renault’s F3R rookie tests.
Team Partner Guillaume Maillard commented: “We are immensely proud that Isack will make the step up to Formula 3 with us. He is an amazing talent, and I am so thankful that we have been able to put this together for him. I am sure he will adapt and learn in the best way possible during the Asian F3 series in preparation for his Formula Regional debut in Europe later this year.”
3Y is a Dubai based professional racing team competing in single seaters and GT racing. They will combine their efforts with Evans GP to form 3Y Evans GP.
Due to Isack’s commitment to Formula Regional Europe in 2021 as a ‘rookie driver’, he will contest 3 rounds of the Asian F3 2021 Championship. Isack will work with his R-ace engineer whom he will build a close relationship with to prepare in the best way possible for his main season in Europe.
